Bioderma Sensibio H2O Review (formerly Créaline)

Hey lovelies! If you’ve read my blog for a while or you follow me on instagram or twitter you might know that at the start of January I went to Paris for a few days with my boyfriend. I bought quite a few things while I was there (I went a bit crazy on the Champs-Élysées...), but one of the purchases I was most excited about was the Bioderma Créaline H2O Solution Micellaire. This product was actually renamed Sensibio H2O a while ago, but the bottles I purchased still have the old name on for some reason, but the product is the same regardless.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with this product (have you been hiding under a rock?!), it is basically a micellar water that acts as both a make-up remover and a cleanser in one and is extremely well loved by beauty bloggers worldwide.

One of the reasons that this has become such a cult product is the fact that it is such a mild formula, being fragrance, soap and alcohol free, making it great for those with sensitive skin. Personally I don’t have overly sensitive skin, but I have found that in the past some make-up removers, even those specially formulated for removing eye make-up tend to irritate my eyes, but I don’t have this problem with this product at all.

I use this product every morning and before I go to bed by pouring it onto a cotton pad. I usually press the pad onto my eyes for a few seconds and then wipe away my eye make-up and then remove the rest of my face make-up afterwards. I always follow up with my trusty Olay Beauty Fluid and the combination of the two products leaves my skin feeling thoroughly clean and moisturised. This product has truly exceeded my expectations and now I completely understand why it has become such a well-loved product. I've never used anything that has removed make-up as quickly and thoroughly as this does and I'd even go so far as to say it has replaced my beloved face wipes ;)

I stocked up on this whilst I was in France, where it is readily available and managed to get two massive 500ml bottles for around €23 in a random little pharmacy near the Eiffel Tower. As you can see from the photo on the left, I'm not even halfway through my first bottle and I've used it twice daily for over a month, so I've got enough to keep me going for a while! However, if you don't have a trip across the channel planned any time soon you can now buy it online in the UK from escentual.com

Have you tried any products from Bioderma?

  3. I love this product! I use the Sebium version which is for oily skin, and I love how it has helped lower the oiliness in my t-zone! I use it twice a day, and couldn't live without it!
